The interior trunk release lever has stopped working on my '05 LS. Both the buttons on the key and at the trunk continue to work. Could a fuse be the source of my problem?
I have certainly enjoyed and appreciated this thread for the past 12 years. In my 57 years of driving the purchase of the LS 430 was by far my wisest automotive decision and it does not appear that I will ever let it go.

is the button pushed in so the valet cannot open the trunk? insert key and turn and you should be good to go

 

That worked! I didn't realize the key lock is also a button.
