Default 2004 LS430 - Question about raising HID headlight

Hello,,,I have a 04' Ls430 with HIDs and would like to raise the driver's side headlight slightly. I understand they're are two hole to insert the philips screwdriver to raise or lower.
My questions:

1. My car has AFS turned on...do I need to turn that off first?

2. Should the engine be running when I make the adjustment? some threads say yes and some say no/doesn't matter

3. TO raise the headlight do I turn counter clockwise or clockwise?

4. Do i need to do this in both holes...or will one hole suffice? If its one hole...which one?

If you can attach pics that helps...I'm not the most handy but learning.

Thank you.

I will be doing this in my garage where its flat.

Headlight aim
Before checking the headlight aim
1. Make sure the vehicle has a full tank of gas and the body around the headlight is not deformed.
2. Park the vehicle on a level spot.
3. Sit in the driver’s seat.
4. Bounce the vehicle several times.
5. Check the headlight aim.
Adjusting the vertical aiming

1. Adjusting bolt A
2. Adjusting bolt B

1. Turn bolt A in either direction using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
Remember the turning direction and the number of turns in mind.
2. Turn bolt B the same number of turns and in the same direction as step 1 using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
After adjusting the headlight in the vertical direction, check if the light has been shifted from the adjusted position in the horizontal direction.

Please notice that, in this application, turning your Phillips-head screwdriver clockwise causes the mechanism to move counterclockwise and vice-versa. No worries, as you will soon find which way raises or lowers by observing the light's movement as you turn....
