Default Replacement Wheels for 2001 LS430

The 16” wheels are pealing. I spoke to a company that refinished them and it was $220 per rim (with tires on rim) with no guaranty that they wouldn’t peel again.

I needed to replace the tires so they are new.

Suggestions for replacements?

I just sold my stock 17's with good tires on ebay for less than $400. If I were you i would just buy a set of OEM wheels from a non-road-salt state. $220/ rim for refinishing is criminal

Central IL area - prep, powerdercoat bright silver, clear coat, reinstalled all for $500.

Yeah, there's no shortage of wheel options out there before dropping 900 bucks on the old 16s. I too would look for a set of OEM 17s.

The fact that they want to refinish the rims with the tires still mounted on them tells me that they do half-assed work. I would run out of that place the second they told me that...
