LS light performance build
Im likely not going to go with coilovers honestly, I want the car to be stiff off center and during any sort of loading but relatively smooth when going straight on level pavement. All the coil-overs I looked at (Jesus there are a lot of them, didn't realize how many brands are on offer for Japanese cars) are using hard mounts with no isolation and overly stiff springs
This go around I do not want to have to build up the trans, install billet input/outputs, billet TQ converter, axles halves, have a bunch of one off springs made, and build up a transfer case and instal higher rated front CVs among dozens of other changes including forcing induction and oil cooling/accumulator system. Went from 245hp flywheel to 690 wheel.

Just figured that out Iol I looked at there site its says 95-98 octane the closest we have in the states is 93 as far as I know. I want to know how they are doing it no US tuner has been able to crack them as far as I know.

I am hoping to see more of an increase since they show 50ish at the wheels but obviously only guarantee 30ish and honestly for the price that still astounds me they can get that much for how little you pay.

This is an interesting decision and I'm going to follow just to see what sort of issues you run into as I believe there will be many. First of many is getting the car to idle correctly with cams like that without the capability to tune it easily and locally.
ECUs from all4swap, right? If I have any spare pocket change later this year, I'm looking into getting one.
Curious, but what have people been doing to alter and change the maps in the car? Is there some kinda tuning tool that'll work with the stock ecu?

Yep, the fuel maps are not changeable but you can use piggy back type systems or play with injector sizes to hit the needed AFR or you can rip it out and go standalone. I'm leaning that way anyway since there is so little solid options that retain the stock ECU that are accurate enough
Oh there are always issues lol, they will be addressed as they come up. Idle is the easiest thing to figure out actually, it's making sure the fueling/spark under low engine speed high load with the altered DCR of these cams doesn't damage the engine.
Give me like an hour and I'll write my thoughts, I'm still wrapping up since I had it do the relearn while I did some other tasks around the house
Okay so 1/2 of my test run is done as of now, drove from my house in Lewis center to my parents estate near Marion being highly aggressive the entire drive intentionally. I got .2 MPG more than normal on vs when I drive calmly, I'm turning back now to see what cruise control yields. Power and response is greatly improved, in PWR mode the throttle responds instantly and the transmission doesn't gear hunt at all anymore. Very easy now to take advantage of any gap in traffic and it's impossible to launch without tire spin anymore since TC doesn't react in time to the increased TQ.

Im on the 5 and it's no joke as reactive and fast as a ZF8 speed now. Instant response gear to gear and doesn't hesitate anymore, I can't stress this enough that the throttle is 1:1 now and instant to pedal movement. Almost like a cable controlled car, any gap in traffic can be taken with ease and I wove three packs of cars on the trip up with a very controlled flow and no need to predict the cars shifts. It kept up very well to what I asked it to do.
Way back I saw 26.2 mpg and over 30 the entire time on 23 before and after Delaware, huge improvement since I normally got 22.4 on that exact stretch and speeds at about the same temperature. That's including a 130mph on ramp pull and 6 red lights with moderate acceleration, feels like a 460 now honestly and I think the cars should have come this way stock. It's awesome having the option of "430 lazy" in normal mode and sharp and direct in power.

Timed the car, getting exactly 5.89 seconds to 60 with me in it and slightly more than a half tank with about 100lb extra stuff in the trunk not including the spare etc. I'm very happy with this since last time I timed this car in a state not including a case of ammo and my range bag it only managed 6.8 with about the same amount of fuel
