The last time my 2004 LS430 Sport Edition was hit was its fourth accident (none were my fault). The estimator came up with a $10K estimate and instructed the body shop to go ahead with repairs. I politely asked for $11K which was WHOLESALE value at the time. The body shop which had a several week backlog of work agreed and said it could easily cost much more once they start peeling back the layers of damage. Insurance said no...fix it. Total final cost of repairs was $15.5K. Stupid.
