Default Nice 2006 in Ok City

I like to browse CarGurus when I get bored, and I saw what appears to be a pretty nice one-owner 2006 for sale at a Lincoln dealership in Oklahoma that I thought I'd post here:

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=238654378

I'm not really in the market for an LS430 (still extremely happy with my 2010 LS600hL and 2006 SC430), but I've always been intrigued by the LS430s and like to lurk in this forum.

The Oklahoma car has the headlight washers, but I see no sign of the backseat amenities that would come with the Ultra Luxury model, so I'm guessing this one might be a Custom Luxury? Miles look fine. Lexus service history ends abruptly at 42,000 miles in 2011 for some reason, so no way to know for sure that the timing belt has been changed...

Just thought I'd toss this one out there for comments, since I do know there are lurkers like me who are looking for nice LS430s.

I actually work next door to that Lincoln dealership. It looks pretty nice to be honest. Most LS430’s around here are in pretty good shape and Flint Mica on Black is a rare combination around here.

Default Nice

That car is perfectly optioned, IMHO. Nice colors too. They sure want all the money and then some.
I love my UL, but the cool stuff in the back? Very rarely used, other than the cool box. I'm quite happy with
my air suspension, with the 18" wheels the handling is excellent. It's a different car when the switch is flipped to sport IF and only if you drive it harder. It's quite subtle when driving the car 'relaxed' I can feel the difference, but it's best described as subtle. When you push it, the sport setting ALMOST means what it says. It's no sports car, but the LS handles. It's big. it leans, it's also glued down on rails. Love driving this car hard.

I’m going to go by the dealership after work today and check the car out. I’ll take pictures and post them in this thread.

Default Yes please

I like the color combination of that car. What is up with all the UL's for sale? Cargurus site showed 14 of them around the USA last night.

Can a moderator tell me how to remove my profile pic? I deleted it, but it lives on.

Looks very nice, but that price seems really high to me, but then again every area is different. For that price it better be up to date with all maintenance at least. I'm sure you could press them to dig up details.

I see them for sale from time to time but they’re pretty rare in my area.

It’s been a while since I’ve done that. I’ll look into it.

I would hope that it’s up to date. People tend to trade them in when the timing belt/water pump need to change.

I didn’t make it up there today. It rained pretty hard today and it floods in front of the Lincoln dealership.

I checked out the car this past Saturday. It was actually pretty clean inside and out. It had both smart key fobs. I took pictures of the car but they didn’t come out that good. I can upload or text them to whoever wants them. I have the salesman that showed me the car’s information. I need to get the VIN number and see if one of my advisors can take a look at the service history.

Create your own account on Lexus drivers.com and you can check Svc history yourself.

The Lexus in this thread was my personal vehicle. We bought it brand new & only traded it in for a new Lexus. Believe it or not, during our ownership of it, it had never spent a night outside of a garage. Having 135,000 miles on it, it was still in perfect condition other than the driver's seat cooling system didn't cool as well from usage. Other than that, it had no issues whatsoever. It is a 2006 model, fully loaded & when we traded it in, it didn't have a scratch or door ding on it. We are in the car wash/detail industry. It's always been spotless & very well taken care of. It was current on all maintenance upon trade in. I'd be happy to answer any questions if anyone has any.

I missed the link as it was probably sold. What was the price and mileage?
