2004 LS 430 Ultra Luxury Full Tour & Review
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share an episode I published this morning on my friend's 2004 Lexus LS 430 Ultra Luxury. I had the pleasure of filming his 1999 LS 400 a little over a year ago, and have since been able to produce a few episodes on other late 90s Lexus models. This 2004 is a seriously good example of what Lexus represented back in the mid 2000s, as it's 276,000kms show little wear and tear compared to the German rivals from the same era.
The third segment of our episode, our Buyer's Guide, comes with help from this community and the resources found through different stickied posts and other request threads for people looking for general information about the third gen LS. I hope you enjoy this little episode as much as I did making it, and I hope it helps future potential owners find out more about this car, and this community!

Owner of this car checking in. I saw your comment about Briarwood - what a lovely colour combo! Yours has to be extremely rare too; I can't imagine that many Briarwood ULs were sold in Canada. Cheers!

The UL has so many innovations that it's difficult to know all of them. For instance, the video failed to point out that the rear seats have a memory button for you favorite position. When you get in, just push the M button and it adjusts. When you stop and get out to automatically goes back to the standard position. Also, he failed to point out the refrigerator in the rear behind the arm rest which holds 4 8-oz cans of beverage if you want. Also he didn't point out that the rear seat area has an independent A/C system that can be controlled at a different temperature that the front. Also, the rear A/C system has an UV lamp in the filter which eliminates smoke, bacteria, and odors.
Just thought I'd point out these missing features.

The little fridge is just about the only thing I use back there, I too noticed they missed the cool box. My old 928 had the glove box chilled the same way. It's handy. SO far the only thing I dislike is the opening to the trunk is too small. The car has loads of trunk space, it's the relatively narrow opening that is an issue. Been binge watching Soprano's lately, the trunk is big enough for two bodies, no wonder the LS is popular among these make believe crooks.
