Default Fair price for 2005 HalfUltra @82K Miles

Local salesman is asking 11K usd for a silver (exterior and interior) 2005 LS430 with 82k Miles on the odometer.

He has service records until 46k miles. And car drives very smooth and quiet (comparing to my loud volvo and the new noname brand tires that he installed)

The bad things are
* the impending engine oil & cooling flushing
* timing belt
* all rims have small damages on the edges (the previous owner/driver managed to brush all the sidewalks)
* ac controlls on the passenger side don’t work
* stereo power button doesn’t turn off if you press it
* minor paint peeling (or scratch) on the trunk boot
* front wheels inside protection covers seem to be missing completely

vin # JTHBN36F150178366
ViN reveals another service record at 54951 MILES on 10/22/2013 (when he replaced the AC compressor and drier)

So... asking price is fair or should I keep looking?

ps. Price is non negotiable, from my discussion with the seller. But he did agree on a advance of 1500$ to keep the car for me (maximum 45days) untill i get him the remaining 9500$

What does the "export" tag mean? Has it been imported? If so, it may not even be a US model and have different features. If imported, you might need to check and see if it can meet US emissions laws and be legallyi registered.

Sounds like alot of issues and expenses. I'm sure there might be additional expenses other than the ones you have mentioned that you will need to deal with. Price seems too high IMHO if you are still considering this car.

yes, the car was exported from USA to UAE

it was tested according to uae standards (including emissions) and it passed

ps. If you check the vin you will see that it was originally ordered in rockville, Maryland

If it was a northern states car, I would be concerned with rust and corrosion. You'd have to throw it on a lift to really check it out. If you follow #celsior and #ls430 on Instagram, it seems like a lot of LS430s make their way over to the middle east... I would keep looking.

send me the VIN and your email. I can run a carfax and send you it's records from Lexus if it went there. In the US, almost nobody stamps the books for maintenance.

thank you all for the information and input
since asking price is high and i have to fix several small items that i have observed +plus+ the missing "service history" for the last 26K Miles - i ll pass

ps. i have found a 2004 with 90K Miles for 8K USD, but this dealer did not provide me the VIN number (for the moment).
pps. halfultra - in UAE (middle east) is most likely "premium" or low end "custom luxury" trim (as mentioned on cars.com ls430 research page )
