Aftermarket rear air struts available

I was just looking through the Rockauto parts catalog and I noticed they now sell the Arnott brand of replacement air struts for the rear. They have had the fronts for a while but now the rears are available as well for $608 each. Fronts are $415 each. Just a heads up for all you UL owners.

thanks for the heads up. Will Arnott struts give the same cushioning/dampning as the OEM? Will i be able to go into Sport mode or normal mode adjustments and feel the difference or are these just glorified airbagged struts and shocks?

I just wondering if I order all 4 arnott struts + postage to Finland then total cost is 1,985.71€ ~1833$
But e.g. "D2 air suspension kit toyota celsior (ucf 30/31) 00~06 basic series" here in Finland cost 2209€ ~2391$

So If I buy that D2 set I get the additional price of 558$
  • Includes a compressor, hoses, adjustment panel, and all neccessary harware.
  • Bolt-on dampers with 32-step damping adjustment.
  • Manual adjustment panel.
  • The basic is the kit you need when you're after a cheap kit which does the job.

If I buy arnott set I get
  • Bolt-on 4 struts

Both have 2 year warranty

I see that the Arnotts are ride-height adjustable, but are you also able to use the sport/normal mode with the adjustable dampening?

No. They don’t have adjustable dampening rates.
Have a friend who got them on his 460 and he’s sorry he went that route.

Deal Breaker

I enjoy the ability to switch between sport and normal. It feels like the car 'wakes up' handling wise. It's no sport sedan, but the sport setting makes the mountain roads more tolerable.

i've heard this more times than not. I think when one of mine finally bites the dust, i'm switching to coils and struts all around for the same price as one air strut.
