Good luck.
Legender this is my favorite kind of brilliance, simple brilliance! The "why didn't I think of that" kind...

I asked my mechanic about changing the plugs...I am at 165k...his answer was that the car runs so damn good right now...why screw with it. I agreed...I do change oil at 2500 miles...probably overkill but I feel good

How did you know they were fake?

Wow! 2500 miles?!? Yeah, that's waaaay overkill unless it's taking you more than 5-6 months to drive the car those 2500 miles. Remember until 10-15 years ago when just about every car had a 3k mile/3 month interval for oil changes? Well finally the manufacturers and even the oil companies admitted that 3k/3mo interval was plain overkill and literally just wasting resources. They conceded that 5k/5mo intervals were far more in line with reality. So yeah, changing your oil 500 miles earlier than what they previously admitted is strictly a waste of resources is a bit much lol
