Default Painting grill opinion

I am painting my grill satin/matte black, should I paint the chrome surround black as well or just the insert with lines. If anyone has any pics of theres I would appreciate it.

I would leave it chrome. I painted mine a graphite gray color.

I'm quite the opposite. My grille is completely chrome.
