Default Window tint round 2

Today I am getting the tint redone on my car because they did a terrible job and there is crap caught in the film on all 4 windows, as well as a bubble in the windshield. Appointment is at 9:30am will post results.

Hope all goes as planned. I hate having to have work redone, just to make it right.
As they say, "there's never enough time to do a job the first time, but always enough time to do it twice..."

Came out good wanna get a bigger sunstrip and the passenger front needs to be redone for a 3rd time but its ok, I like it also has a lifetime warranty.

The tint for those that are interested is

4 doors 15%
rear glass 35%
windshield 50%
Windshield sunstrip 5%
sunroof 35%

The tint will have bubbles for 3-5 days afterwards they will go away or is it after the 3-5 mark?

Also thank you I appreciate the compliments.

out of all the cars i've had, my tint guy is having the most difficulty with my LS. He initially didn't want to do it because as he says, the tolerances are too little and the defrost lines on the back are too thick, making it a pain, and i do have to say, i'm on my third appointment this coming thursday to redo the rear glass.

I've never encountered issues with them before on any job they've done.

This will be round 3 in them trying to tint my car properly next step is to challenge it on my credit card statement. So sick a idiots that cant do a job correctly the first time.

Hmmm. Why are you continuing to give them chances?! Would you repeatedly go back to your (vet , dentist, dry cleaning, doctor, jeweler, lawyer, tax preparer, etc, etc) who always messes up your job? Take your business elsewhere, unless they're giving you a 85% discount off their original quoted price?!

Perhaps this is Divine intervention, and you should heed the signals? Things that make you go HMMMmmm...

In this day and age, I vet ALL things through Google, FB, and Yelp reviews. From restaurants to contractors and everything in between gets run through those three. If I have a stellar experience, I make sure to leave a good, thorough review. If it is lackluster, then it also gets the appropriate review.

Not sure where in NY you are, but that has to be some killer tint places close by. In Houston, there are plenty of fly-by-night places that are worth avoiding. We are lucky that we have some really great tinters here.

Hope you get it resolved to your satisfaction!

I had a similar issue, however with older vehicles it’s harder to get them completely clean, the felt strips in the doors will flake and that’s what happened to mine. I has my tint guy redo one window and the rest I left alone. A few spots here and there I didn’t bother will redo.

I am having them re-do it cause I have a lifetime warranty on my tint and Its costs me nothing but gas and time to have then fix there mistakes lol The really sad part is there is 3 tint shops in upstate NY and surrounding areas. So unless I go down to NYC I am kinda outta luck.
