Compared to most European and other sport sedans, the LS430 does have a realtively soft spongy brake feel.

So we got to the bottom of my weak braking: My brake fluid was green and very old, and one of my lines had 6 seconds worth of air in it! Now all is good and I didnt need new brake lines or calipers thank god!

I had always heard brake components rust from the inside out (stuck pistons etc.)....so what are the effects of green brake fluid assuming it has a high moisture content? Brake fluid and tranny fluid seem to be 2 things that can often be left alone for life....was in a Firestone and a woman was really upset they went ahead and replaced her brake fluid, so I just said my .02 is that it should be done every 2 yrs. She honestly felt ripped off, but after what I said, she calmed down....
