Default Anybody have pics of their ‘04-06 LS430 with 16” wheels

I am thinking of downgrading wheel size on my ‘05 LS 430 from 18” to 16” (which seems to go against the trend on here). Has anybody done this? and if so could you post a picture ?

I don't think 16 would clear the caliper and rotor.

I don't see why not. 16" used to be standard on this car...

No pictures but I bought a set of 16's froma 2001 LS430 to run on my 03. I thought it would give me a better ride than the stock 17's. Ran em for about a year and decided I couldn't tell any difference so I sold the 16's and went back to the 17's.

Did they enlarge the calipers in ‘04?

I have an 01 UL that has the stock 16s. It looks terrible, but it rides nice

I have these exact rims (2002 model) on my 2001. I like them. $125 is pretty reasonable. I would put these on our 04 if they fit over the calipers.

Thanks but the question was will the 16s fit on the '04-'06 LS430s? Not sure what upgrades were made to the brakes when Lexus updated the LS. '01-'03 came with 16/17"s; '04-'06 came with 17/18"s

I have yet to see an '04-'06 LS430 with 16" wheels

The calipers are the same from 01-06 from what I can tell, so really, it should fit. I've though of downgrading to a 17" wheel, if the right aftermarket rims came along but I haven't really been searching.

If my 16" will fit on the 2004, then my 17" will fit on the 2001. I am going to try a "tire rotation swap" with 2 cars.

2 jacks, 2 cars. Right rear from 2001 goes on left front of 2004. Vice versa. Repeat with other 3 locations. Swap and rotate.
