I can tell you that the 17" wheels fit just fine. I swapped the 17" off my '04 to my '05 that had 18" wheels. When I got my '05 the tires were completely shot and the wheels had a ton of curb rash. On the flip side the 17" wheels from my '04 had a heck of a lot less curb rash and the tires had about 1/2 the tread left. Everyone has there own taste but I actually like the 17" 6 spokes slightly better than the 18" 5 spokes.

A couple months ago I got new tires and I'm glad I didn't have to pay the price for 18" or 19" tires. My only kicker is that I forgot to swap the spares so my '05 runs on 17" but has an 18" spare. Shouldn't be a real issue in the fact that it will be for emergency use only.

In winter, I run 16" OE Lexus wheels with snow tires on both of my 06's and my '01.

Thanks Tom. You have any pictures of your '06 with the 16s?

caverman, i was talking about 16s fitting on the '04-'06 LS, not 17s.
