Cruise control won't stay on
 

So I'm looking to find out if anyone know wtf this is. I have laser cruise that doesn't work. I bypass it with the MODE.

after bypass, the VSC/abs light comes on and then it says check cruise control. Turn off cruise and the error goes away.

does anyone have an idea of what I can check?

Update...I tested it while on the highway and it worked perfectly. I can't set it it while parked, but I can while driving.

Maybe because cruise control has minimum speed to work. Tried to set it at like 20mph and see.

27mph, IIRC.

that's not the issue. I couldn't turn on cruise without getting an error while parked or stopped. Any other car in the world, you can still turn cruise on, just can't be used until 27ish mph.

It could also be bc of bug splatter covering. Just happened to me on road trip.
