Thanks, its a work in progress. I plan to paint the bumper and fender first and let them cure and do the hood on a different day.

Thanks.

I will be painting in the garage. Just two harbor freight hvlp guns for base and clear. They work really well for me. Almost done with the bumper, ran out of spot glaze. Just to fill in some nicks and high build primer in some areas and I can paint.

Bumper is done. I picked up a quart of 1F2 Mercury Metallic and a quart of clear. Put a dab of the new paint on my finger and tested it on the fender I will be replacing and it matches really well.

This is so awesome man keep it up
I have the same color car as you, word of warning what you paint is gonna be much darker in color.

See how the spoiler is so much darker than the rest of the car thats how it will turn out just to give you a heads up.

I think it will match. After looking over the car its been completely repainted except for the roof. So the clear coat still hasn't yellowed or gotten lighter.

Tomorrow I plan to paint the fender and bumper in the morning before it gets too hot. A little heat will help with getting a nice level finish and less orange peel. I'm really excited how its going to turn out.

I started on the hood, just did a wetsand with 800 grit on a DA and block sanded after to get a level finish to see any dents and chips. Going remove the fenders and bumper, etc before going further. Also plan to repaint the grille insert since the silver is faded.

Thanks, just wanted to support one of favorite youtube channels.

Just did the first coat, very light, going to let it dries for 15 minutes and do 2 more of base coat.

Done with color coats, just need to wait an hour and spray clear. Looks like its going to match pretty good.

Thanks, just finished with the clear. Did 4 coats, probably overkill, but plenty of material to wetsand and buff later.

Transferred over the tow hook cover...paint match is really close. Maybe a hint darker. Most pics in the sun just because...
