Almost done with the sub install. I got the amp mounted under the rear deck. Now I can start putting things back together. I also made the trunk release button functional again, it was a gooey mess so I scraped off the melted rubber and put a felt strip over the button.

Finished putting the trunk back together and got my subs in. Still need to adjusts gain and the high pass frequency but it still sounds good. I removed the old sub so some bass reaches the cabin. Tomorrow I'll be putting in the new seat belts and the back seats in.

You do fine work.

If you lived in my neighborhood I'd be praying that you had good taste in music...

Looking good, man. After installing subwoofers and speakers, i stopped by a local audio installation shop and had them tune my system for about 30 bucks. They have some tone cd they use, and they measure the voltage or something, but the system is tuned professionally, and i don't have to wing it messing around with the *****. Money well spent.

In my old car with a complete aftermarket setup I did a similar thing. I used a usb drive with different tracks and distortion detector to tune the system perfectly. On this on I'm doing by ear because the subwoofers would overpower the ML speakers.

I got everything back in finally. I put dynamat on the rear deck from the inside. There is no rattles at all, sounds really good, for stock speakers they are really clear. I mounted the subwoofer control **** in the spare change cubby, width was perfect but the housing was too tall so I trimmed the top off and sealed it with tape. Also, installed the replacement knee airbag, so now I just need to buy a new Front Right air bag sensor and the light will turn off.

I got my dashcam hardwired in, used a fused tap off the cig fuse. Also replaced the airbag sensor so the airbag light is now off. Haven't had any issues with the car, I've put about 1000 miles on it now. I plan to change all the fluids when the weather warms up.

I bet the sound of your system is now much better. Reaping the rewards.

Added a few things to the car. Found a Vais bluetooth kit on ebay for cheap, also installed a magnetic cell phone mount with a charge cable from the Vais unit. Next step is to get window tint, already too hot here in North TX.

Finally got the window tint done today. I did 3M Ceramic on the windshield which is almost clear and 35% on the rest. I really like how it came out since in my opinion dark tint doesn't look good on silver cars.

In the pictures the tint looks darker than in person. Now I'm motivated to paint the replacement front bumper and fender. Hood and rear bumper will be in the fall since they need body work.

Almost exactly how it looks like in person, it was hard to get a good picture with the sun. Also washed the car after 3 months, silver hides dirt so well.
