Default Has a bird ever gotten stuck in your grill?

This happened last summer right after I spent the entire previous day detailing my car in and out. Has anyone else ever had a bird get stuck in there grill before? I feel bad about killing the bird, it took like 10 mins to remove the bird nothing was broken but his beak was an inch away from the ac condenser.

That was a native swamp hen that caused my front bumper to explode. Luckily it was a base model heap of crap

When I read the title, I thought it was going to be another one of John's threads!

I did hit a bird one time last summer. It glanced off the windshield, but didn't leave any evidence. I've seen this on our planes, where a goose or some other large fowl will get hit by the landing gear or slats, and the crew calls in and asks for a bird strike inspection. No fun cleaning that up...

Happened to my LS this summer on I-95 driving up from FL to NJ. Bird Strike around North Carolina. Bird was still in there when I arrived in NJ. Had to replace the lower grill. I have to see if I can find the video of us pulling it out. Full size black crow.

No pics but we watched a bird swoop down and below the car while we were traveling
at 75 mph. Looked later and saw nothing... Two weeks later while washing her down
I discovered the dried carcass wrapped around a lower valence opening strut way back
out of sight.

Of course, it's only going to happen after a thorough cleaning.
I did have a bird come through the windshield vent on my motorcycle at about 70 MPH. What a mess. Blood and guts all over the place. Had to pull over first chance and get it cleaned up. Good thing I had the helmet on.
And... I ran over a javelin one time... but that's another story.

OK.. my mistake... or correcto mode on the Ipad....

Goldwing 1800 with a vent right in the center of the windshield....most of the bird came right through it...

On the Javelin... was acutally a javelina in the big bend of area of Texas... (even on the PC auto spell checker tried to change to javelin).
Came around the bend and there were 3 of them getting ready to cross the road, saw me and bolted right in front of me. Took out the middle one on my 1500 Goldwing. I stood on the pegs, gunned it and rode over him. Popped open the trunk and saddle bags and had to pull some quivers out of the tire. But no serious damage to the bike, so kept on riding.
Here's a pic of my buddy showing the size of it....ok, this got off track fast...
