Need a LS looked at in the Fairview NJ area. Suggestions?

If all else fails, you could have the owner take it to a Lexus dealer for a maintenance inspection. Being so close to Manhattan, there must be several stores close. They will provide a detailed written summary of things that the car needs.
Obviously, this is not necessarily as good as some other ways of doing it, but it does have certain advantages: it's free and they are sure to list anything at all marginal which you can use to negotiate price.
