Default Painted brake calipers

So I replaced my front rotors over the weekend and while had everything off i decided to paint the front and back calipers with some silver high temp spray paint.

That silver looks awesome! It goes well with the chrome wheels.

Looks good! Gives it a nice clean look. imho, our cars don't need to do red etc. like a new Civic R etc, that's for when a vehicle has huge brakes. Just makes the car look clean overall. Sweet.

p.s. are those OE rotors? Because mine looked like that when the selling dealership did them. The OE seems to have gray hats, where aftermarket premium rotors are black...and do you have the lug nut on to prevent the rotor from slipping off? Guess we don't have a set screw....I know the dealer used anti seize as I asked because I saw it peering out from the lug bolts, so I don't anticipate trouble removing in the future...

They look like Centric Rotors, which is what I installed. I painted the calipers with the same High Temp Silver when I did mine. It does look nice, nicer than Red. I suppose if there was an F-Sport LS430, it may have had red calipers??

I bought centrics for my rears ($27 on amazon, no brainer!), but the hats are black, not gray...unless the fronts are different? What sold me on centrics is they say 400 hours of salt water exposure and won't rust. I have bought cheap Raybestos before for my Nissan, with black hats, and they rusted badly from the unswept part of the disc right up to the black paint. Which is a reason I do like OE if affordable since the entire disc is dipped, and what's worn by the swept area is the only not treated area....my next car, whatever it is, is going to have huge brakes from the factory! If it was an f sport it would probably be that lighter blue like this image from club Lexus thread.

I am a fan of that blue honestly and I gave the ls to my wife so what ever makes her happy is what goes on the car haha.
