I have seen a carbon fiber hood for a 01-03 ls430 is there anyone who knows of a carbon fiber hood for a 04-06 ls?

 

How much does either 01-03 or 04-06 hood weigh?
How much does the carbon fibre hood weigh?

 

I honestly do not know I want it for looks more than anything else it just goes with my build.

nah man I have chassis braces and upgraded sway bars super stiff coilovers, I feel my car is more daily driver/light track duty oriented and not a pavement princess, with stupid amounts of camber and scraping. The carbon fiber hood would look really good and be way out of the norm for our cars. Also it's something I want could someone take a pic of my car and Photoshop the hood to be carbon fiber?

 

im a lexus ls430 owner
i have some modifications and weight reduction
believe me, with no race fuel or any turbo or supercharger
i got like 13.85 1/4 mile on a normal highway
I believe i would run like 13.65-13.7 if it was on a drag racing road

 

imo, Wrap it with carbon vinyl film. it would be way more economical then a full carbon hood which would probably be custom for our cars and you can pick your color carbon and change it you don't like it or want a different look down the line
