Default '05 18" OEM Wheels - Has Anyone Painted Gunmetal?

I'm getting the curb rash fixed on 3 of my rims, so I figured I'd get all the rims painted while I was at it. Has anyone painted the '05 18" OEM rims the Lexus gunmetal color? I like the color on the LFA rims.

I was going to do this after this winter, I just picked up a set of OEM 05' 5-spoke that are pretty bad rash/scratches and mounted them on my winter tires. My project will start next year on this because I always thought gunmetel would look great on a LS.

I think it would look really good and gives it a little different look too!

I have seen a set of gunmetal 18 inch wheels before at my local dealership. It looked really good.

Not a fan of the gunmetal color on that car (and I love gunmetal wheels, on almost everything). I think it may be the style of wheels - they look like old fashioned wheels (before gunmetal color became popular). Just doesn't look right unlike that photo you posted above your car.

I have the gun metal on mine but it’s not the LS wheel. I like the color but only on darker colored cars. Mine is black, I think if your was a darker shade of silver or gray it will look better.
To me it is like putting black wheels on a wight car most of the time it did not work on saloon cars. On spirt care it is different.
That is my opinion.
