Default OEM transmission fluid

Is it best to use OEM tranny fluid for my drain and fill and thereafter? Where can I get it?

Yes, the dealer will have them. Go to Toyota, the distribution is widely available so this would be the first choice for your Type IV or WS and they charge less than Lexus. Amazon also sells genuine Toyota fluids like this. In the absence of Toyota product there are versions from the mainstream producers of fluids at a local auto parts store. You'll want to verify on the bottle that it does state Toyota Type IV or WS compatible. When going into the Toyota dealer parts dept ask for case quantity and price, they usually cut a discount. If you are doing the incremental drain-fill, buy 12, you'll use it. For the transmission get the appropriate drain plug washer. The crush washer is one time use so at your option you can buy the aluminum fiber type from the mass auto parts store too, these are resuable. Verify size though.

What year is your car?
It is of paramount importance you use the CORRECT OEM fluid.
I believe the 2001 and 2002 430's use Type IV and 2003 to 2006 require WS.
Double check your owners manual before you buy...
