1 feature i just figured out was the volume set button on the steering column. After turning down the volume to talk with passengers, I hit that button and BOOM! back to the music the way I like it! LOL!

This is a great video, I saw this earlier this year, even before I bought my LS. I wish the windows could roll back up with the key though. Great features for a car to have now and the LS had this back then.

My 02 5 series has this and it really is nice. Same with it being unable to roll up via the fob, you can do it "manually" by turning and holding the key in the lock position in the door handle. It's a US safety thing.. Guys on the forums who do coding can turn the feature on so you can use the fob - my guess is the same could be done with the LS? (Idk, I'm new here)


Also funny, I was watching a video a few minutes ago of LS430 features and the guy put the key in the door to roll down all the windows and roll up all the windows and he made a big point how BMWs don't have that (rolling back up) feature.. He must have been confused with forum talk talking about the fob, probably doesn't even know you can roll em down with the fob ha

I was able to put the windows down and up on the key remote on my 00 ML, until I lost the internals for the remote one day. My 05 Ford Mondeo had that feature as well. Very handy when it starts to rain and you can't be arsed going outside to roll them up

Lol, he probably didn't do thorough research before posting. I am aware of the manual rolling up with the key, but thanks for pointing that out. My 06 Acura TL has this feature as well, but on the forum one of the vendors sold a module that reverse the polarity(I assume) to roll the windows back up with the remote. Just did the volume SET on the steering wheel today. BMWs, with coding, can have a lot of features that are simply turned off, but is available in some cars. I learned that with my brother's X5.
