Trunk lid pop open?

Trunk lid pop open?
When I press the button on the trunk lid it releases the latch but the trunk only come up about 1". Shouldnt it pop up and open like my Lincoln?

Probably not what you want to hear but that is normal behavior for for this car...

You are right. The Lincoln opens and closes hands free with the touch of a button. Maybe I can retrofit a Lincoln hinge to it......
