want to connect dash cam power to fuse box
I have a 2004 LS430 and want to have CDR895D dash cam installed. There are two options for power connection (1) usb cable adapter connected to cigarette lighter socket, or (2) use Vehicle Hardwire Kit connected to fuse box. I prefer to do (2) for less clutter and because of the infamous cigarette lighter problem blowing fuses. But I'm wondering if I go with option (2) will I still have issues related to the same cigarette lighter problem?
