tail lamp failure light won't turn off
All tail lamps are working after replacing one bulb but the warning light won't turn off. Any way to turn off that warning?

Which bulb was replaced? If it's the small 5 watt D type (upper lamp on each section), make sure you used the correct wattage. I installed a 194 lamp, which is only 3.9 watts, and it was enough resistance to trigger the "Lamp Failure" message even after replacement.
After purchasing the correct lamps (5 watts) then all was well and boom went the dynamite...

There is loose wire or something on mine and I have to "tap" the trunk lid occasionally when the warning displays (and there are no lights out...). A couple of jarring taps and the warning light goes out..... (not ideal but have not been able to take it apart and resolve it....).

Also, was wondering if the license plate bulbs would make the warning light go on.. if anyone knows?

Also, something to consider... LED's draw less amperage than an incandescent lamp, even though they're brighter. So, if you have LED lamps installed, you may get the warning as well.

Replace the same bulb on the opposite side of the car. I believe the car detects a difference in the resistance of the new bulb compared to the older bulb on the other side, therefore I would always replace both.

I actually did this after I failed with the LED's. I had two 194s in and was still getting the "Lamp Failure" notification.

You may already know but in case some don't, you need to install "load resistors" to prevent the warning from appearing. You can get them on Amazon for pretty cheap if you want to switch the exterior brake/turn-signal lights to LED's.
