AC Intermittent issue - replaced High pressure switch
Guys,
I just wanted to more or less post a placeholder. I had my local garage, order and replace the AC high pressure switch - its a known problem. The refrigerant has to be evacuated since its a direct switch. Its super easy to access - right in front of the radiator. But parts and the service ran me about $130.
I let it go for a couple years, time to stop being so cheap!

My 2002's only AC problem was corrosion of the high pressure side line going to the rear AC system (only UL package has a rear AC unit), causing refrigerant to slowly leak (and manifesting as intermittent AC) until enough refrigerant leaked to cause the AC system to not cool at all.
