I have a 04 UL that is pretty much bulletproof. I'm just biding my time until something really major breaks (engine, trans) to get something newer. I'd go for a 2013+ LS460L every option minus executive, or a S-Class. Leaning to the better L/Certified warranty though. It can be extended to 7 years/unlimited miles. Such a killer deal.

It's very easy for me to decide if it were between an LS430 and LS460... Bottom line is that the LS460 looks too similar to the ES350 and that ends the deal right there. The LS430 although older still looks classic.. Most of the Lexus models now look all alike. Too Bad. And the newer models are ugly as sin! Get rid of that horrible Alien Grill!!

I agree with your on the looks of the LS430 vs LS460 ('07-'12). I think the LS430 does have a more classic look as well. I have a lot of people that can't believe my car is already 12 yrs old, especially when we go for a ride.

However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally love the grills on the 2013+, they look really aggressive to me. I do agree that I don't care for the way all the sedan models are starting to look alike. Sometimes I have to look twice to see the difference between the ES and GS models now. I guess that's good for those wanting the entry model. I'm still in on the LS due to the interior space but I've seen some new GS F Sport models with that awesome tan interior that would make me ditch my LS in a heart beat if I didn't have to go into debt for one.
