Congrats. The LS430 is, in my opinion, the best car Lexus ever built. You got one hell of a deal. I've had my 2006 for 2 years and love it. One thing if you ever notice some squeaking use some rubber seal conditioner on the door seals. That should resolve it. Good luck with your purchase and enjoy in good health.

Great color combination, I love the Cypress paint.

Absolutey. I have a 2004 LS without nav and I have VAIS streaming Bluetooth and satellite. When you go to buy it online you select year, make, model and then I remember some
other selection where I indicated I didn't have navigation and it gave me my product options. I'm not a DIY type so took it to a shop that charged me $80 to install.

Is the VAIS system better than getting a Double Din? Some of the Double Din I've seen are damn nice, with bluetooth and the ability to use voice controls on my phone.

It depends on what you're looking for. I wanted to keep my factory radio which is why I went with the VAIS products. I was willing to sacrifice not having bluetooth calling abilities (I use headphones anyway) in order to keep the OEM radio for cosmetic reasons in the car. Everyone has a different idea of what they want/need, but for me it was important to keep the OEM radio and just add functionality "behind the scenes". As I said, I have both the streaming bluetooth audio and satellite radio integrated into my OEM radio.

sums it up pretty much-- do you want to keep the factory look or not?
i've personally always hated the way toyotas still had cassette players into the mid 2000s
keeping it factory allows you to retain steering wheel controls as well, though i'm not sure if base model LS430 has a harness to make some of the steering wheel audio controls functional

but, 2din aftermarket inherently allows for:
carplay/android auto
USB video+audio playback
backup cam integration
mutliband EQ with soundstage /imaging
ability to entirely upgrade audio
built in bluetooth handsfee and a2dp

probably some other stuff too that i'm missing.

**edit**
i guess if you wanna compromise between the two, look into GROM as well
