I am wondering do the stock front seats have air bags in them? I want to put a pair of sparcos i had layen around in, in place of the stock seats cause of the ls1 swap and i want to take the car to Watkins Glen. I am also working on a ladder brace but yah airbags in the seats anyone know?

Also ls1 swap was pretty easy any one has questions feel free to ask. It really straight forward hardest part by far is the wiring.

 

Air bags for the rear passengers? The LS430 does not have AB in them for rear passengers but has seat side AB. The LS has front airbags, curtain airbags side, seat side, and pretty sure knee airbags.

 

Sorry about the poorly worded question if i take out the front seats will i get an airbag light, and disable all my other airbags? Like is there a actual airbag in the front seats themselves?

 

The front seat is equipped with an airbag (see diagram below, circled in red). You will get a "B-Type" DTC if you unplug this airbag.

 

So your saying yhe srs light will be on our will there be a cell? Also anybody know what ohm or watt resistor i would need to wire in to prevent that? Also is bit possible to take the the air bag out and atachb it to the side of the racing seat?
