01 - base

serviced at Lexus only.. extensive history up to 70k miles (1st owner)

70-80k just did oil changes at home. (2nd owner)

Car currently has 80.4k miles Exterior has scrape on front right, rear quarter panel has slight scuff dent. 2 owner car. Interior I would rate at 7/10 seat belts are dirty.. leather has seen better days but still okay for 15 year old car.

I don't know the California market but that car would go for around $9-10k here in Phoenix. If you want low miles and no options there are lots of other cars out there. If you are interested in that one check the interior trunk area for damage. The panel alignment is off (maybe it's just popped and not opened) and the paint shade looks different (could just be the pic/pearl paint). For that price that car should be near perfect.

I had my 01 LS430 with 120,000 miles appraised (without a new car purchase) by my local Lexus dealer at $7200 which tells me they are going to mark it up to most likely $9,999 or $10,900. It's an original paint car with an exceptional interior and exterior and Nav. Both bumper covers need repaint. They did show interest for my car in their used car inventory. I hope this helps in giving you an idea of prices.

That price is a bit high for SoCal market. I would rather buy a slightly higher mileage car at a discount. There isn't much difference between a well-maintained 2001 at 80K vs. a well-maintained 2001 at 120K, but price wise it could be significant.

Yes, any LS430 or most cars in general will nose dive in value after 100,000 miles. Better off getting a 105,000 mile LS430 than the same car with 80,000 miles and save thousands.
