What vehicles have you owned before the LS430?
Just curious what rodes brought people to owning an LS430, did you always own luxury cars or came from something completely different?
Mine in order are:
1999 V6 Mustang - First Car
1995 Supra Turbo BPU++++
2001 Heads and Cam C5 Corvette Z06
2008 Widebooty C6 Corvette
2003 Supercharged Dodge Viper SRT10
1997 Bolt ons Dodge Viper GTS
1998 Heads and Cam Viper GTS - bought my first daily, a lifted Grand Cherokee alongside of it
1997 Heads and Cam Supercharged Viper GTS
1997 Heads and Cam viper GTS - Sold the Jeep with along the same time I sold this car
2009 Cadillac CTS-V 6 speed with Recaros
2003 Supercharged Viper SRT10 - Current/For Sale
1997 Lifted Lexus LX450 - Sold 2 weeks ago
2004 Lexus LS430 - Current
Obviously I am a sports car guy, we will see how long I resist another sports car once the Viper sells, I rarely drive it now. Love the LS430 though, my dad has had his since 2006 and I wanted a nice daily regardless if I have a sports car. I was thinking about getting a C7 Z06 or a new M3 and using it as my only car but for now I enjoy the extra money in my pocket, will really enjoy it once the Viper sells.

Pole Position
2008 Hyundai Elantra - spent more time in the shop than all my other cars combined. The transmission didn't shift below -10 degrees (even with top of the line Redline manual transmission fluid) so I had to sell it because that doesn't fly in Minnesota.
2005 Honda Element AWD - bought it from my brother, huge mistake he neglected it and the delayed maintenance became my problem. Got it running right and now it's someone else's problem. I never got better than 22 mpg in it, it ran a 9 second 0-60, and was so loud.
Now I have the LS and I think I want a different car but I the only other car that seems like an upgrade is a GS-F or a Prius or an Acura with SH-AWD (RL/TL/RLX)

I am the opposite. Buy em for 65-50 off MSRP with 30-60k miles on em warrantee usually of some sort drive em to 200k ditch em. If I cant buy close to wholesale I pass but usually take months to buy a car. Been a $en$ibble way to raise kids with the financial needs of a family. Minivan Accord, Camry hybrid, 2 LS's Touareg quixk sale highlander, another Touareg TDI, LS Highlander at present.

I've had too many cars over the last 30 years to remember them all fondly, however, some of the highlights are as follows;
1969 Dodge Dart Swinger. It had the 340/4 speed combo. 3:90 gears in the rear and holy cow hold on acceleration! It was in rough shape, so it had to go
1987 Ford Escort GT. I bought it new after graduating college. When's the last time you've seen one??
1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible (super clean-used to take to car shows in the 1980's)
1992 Buick Park Ave Ultra. My wife loved that car, I on the other hand did not...
1994 Nissan 300ZX - My favorite car. Bought it as a project. Really enjoyed driving/working on that thing.
1973 VW Beetle - I restored it in the early 90's and put a 1776 with dual Webers in. That was a fun car to drive
2000 Honda S2000. Bought it in 2002 at 2 years old. Was always worried about driving it because it was pricy for me. Sold it a year later
2002 Pontiac Bonneville - Boring car, but super reliable. I had almost 200K on it when it got rear ended
2000 RX300 - Replaced the Bonneville with this, my first Lexus.
2016 Hyundai Veloster R-Spec - I thought this would be the car I would commute to Chicago in, but after 5 weeks, I couldn't take it any longer, so I bought my second LS
