Searching for ventilated seat foam
Hello all, I got a 2004 LS430 in December as a good "project" car. It has been well taken care of/maintained, but still needs some work. I will post more specs and the maintenance I've done at some point. ANYWAY, I'm looking for the front seat foams, as my back hurts after a while of being in there, I've looked at/lubed the lumbar mechanism, and it is all working properly. Seat bottom leather is torn, as usual for a 20yr old seat. But, All I find is the "seat cushion ***'y" which is $7xx, and appears to be all the parts for the seat bottom.
https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/...)&location=pd:,
OR, the seat pads for UN-ventilated seats, still almost $300/ea...not happening.
I can get all of the covers and would be able to install them myself, I just need the foams. I can't find any recent posts of anybody sourcing the ventilated seat foams. How many holes are supposed to be in the ventilated seat bottoms? Has anybody had the cushions made at upholstery shops? I've asked about having the seats done, ~800/ea, and asked about having foam made to no avail, really. I can get all of the covers and hog ring tools for ~700 for both seats, I just need the cushions. If anybody has done this recently, please let me know where you got the parts.
Thanks,
Colby

I purchased the foam with air holes for heated and cooled front drivers seat from a Lexus dealer online (it might have been Lexus Parts Now) for my '05 for about $ 400 a few years ago. Don't have the part number handy. sorry.
There is a thread on here somewhere with a HOW TO and it may have the part number, look in the FAQ section

I looked late last year when I had my 430 and to the best of my research they stopped making the driver side seat foam. (direct OE replacements). I think you should pay someone who knows what they are doing to work their magic and make the seat Bently/Rolls-Royce grade.

Changing the seat bottom pad won’t fix your back pain. You probably need a small pillow in your lumbar spine area for better support.
I am using this one and it works great:

Hey, guys! Sorry for the late reply. I can find the leather covers several places, its the foam I can't find. Passenger seat is (as always) way less worn/ way more comfortable than the drivers seat. So i should be good if i can just find the foam.

That's showing the rear. But, I CAN find the seat foams for the non-ventilated seats, I'm just not finding anything for the ventilated seats, that's been my issue this whole time.
