Default Llumar Air Blue 80 today

Came out exactly how I wanted. These aren't the best photos but it's all I got right now.

Llumar is one of the best ceramic films available. I prefer light films so ceramic was the first move because you get that heat reduction and UV ray protection without having to go dark. Llumar AB80 and Crystalline CR70 were the two I compared. I have a feeling the crystalline would appear slightly darker and a deeper blue. Again wanting a super light ceramic film all around is the goal so Llumar was my choice.

Looking out of the windows now has the clarity and sharpness of looking through polarized sunglasses.

I can go on and on about pros I knew exactly what I wanted and this was the product that fit it best. I don't have a con but someone will say ceramic film is more expensive. It is... but not by much i've always loved the blue tinted glass against a white car with a light interior.

From their site:

LLumar Air Blue 80 is a non-metalized, non-conductive ceramic technology film with 43% heat rejection, maximum ultra-violet rejection, excellent optical clarity, and scratch- and corrosion-resistant properties.

That's going to look even better because of the deeper blue almost a hint of mirror to it too.

I'm going to do the windshield as well but I want to replace the current one with an OEM windshield first.

Great tint and paint combo. May I ask how much the ceramic tint costs in your area?

Yeah thanks I got a better shot today that I added as the first picture up top. Left it in the sun all day to help speed up the curing.

I got the work done at Rocky Mountain Tint in Livermore. Price was $399 out the door.

Ya, I think I had to wait two week after I got the car since that was the next appointment the tint shop I went to had open. Sometimes I wish I went with a light charcoal tint, but my last car had dark tint it and it was annoying to drive around in at night

Thanks for posting those pictures as this is exactly what I'm going to get.

Not many pictures online of that tint on a white car, in fact googling llumar air blue 80 didn't return too many results at all, at least not the far back and up close pictures you provided.

Didn't want to pull the proverbial trigger until I saw a really good example and this is it.

Right on glad to help. I also had no luck finding photos of a white LS430 with the tint... Sieze helped me get an idea over in the photoshop section and then I found some members with it on instagram. In CA and especially where I live the cops will roll on even a light charcoal up front but it's been about 8 times with this tint and they don't bother with it.

Yep, I'm not too far north of you in Sacramento. I have an appointment setup with Genesis Window Tint in Roseville. One of the few dealers that offered it.

It's funny, but this thread and your pictures are now in Google's search radar for "llumar air blue 80 white car." It's the only good picture out there on the Internet if you can believe that.

In any case, it's perfect and exactly what I'm looking for. I actually like that slight-blue hue and very light tint and this is the only one I'm comfortable putting on my front windows, which allows me to do the same tint all around.
