After washing my LS this weekend i noticed that the passenger side is slightly lower than the driver side. I have an 05 UL w/ PCS and air suspension

I put a level on the front and rear or the car and it is slightly uneven (as you can see below). It is barely noticeable by eye but i am concerned if the height senor needs adjusting or could it be signs of a fail air strut??

Car rides amazing and i did my inspection a couple of weeks ago - the air struts were all in good shape with no signs of failing or leaking.

I also measured the "tires-to-fender" on all sides and the passenger side sits 1/2" lower at the rear and front than the driver sides.

Is this normal? Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

If it were the driver side that was higher, than I'd say it might be normal to compensate for the drivers weight. My 05 BMW 530i w/sport pkg, the driver was almost a whole inch higher. Lol. It looked ridiculous but I found out it was normal....but it handled like a go kart.

My LS (non UL)is a tad bit higher on one side but I forgot which side but it's so minor that it doesn't bother me.

Reminds me of lowering your car on coilovers. It's hard to get every single corner to be on point. I don't think a few mm makes a difference on a DD

I'm running techstream tests on my 2004 air suspension. The right rear is low by 1" but reads the same as the left. I am going to pull it off and test it for intermittent readings. Something is kicking my compressor on and off. That's a tough environment for an electronic sensor. If they were under $50 I'd just replace it but this stuff is too expensive to shotgun. I'll report back to this thread.

Reporting back on the height sensor: learned the hard way that the stud on the link has a 10mm base (after cutting off the rusty nut). Otherwise very simple to check. I keep an old Simpson 260 Vom in my garage as sometimes you need a needle to see erratic operation of a variable resistor. I only removed the right rear. The Vom needle moves very smoothly and I could not get it to become erratic by placing moderate side loads on the shaft. It may be a $300 part but for something that lives in that environment and is still working great after 12 years and 130,000 miles I'm satisfied.

I know that most of those here recommend removal of the adaptive air suspension but for me it's one of my favorite features of this fine car. We decided to get this boat and I expected that it wasn't going to be a cheap ride.
