Default New Owner 2004 LS430 CL

Hi all. I just purchased a 2004 with Custom Luxury package in Mercury with comfort leather and smart access. This is my first LS, I am coming from a 2014 Mazda 6 lease, so quite a big change so far.

The car has 82000 miles on it, one owner, all maintenance done at same dealer that car was originally purchased at. Excellent service record, and as an added bonus the TB 90K service was just completed back in December before the car was sold.

I have already added a VAISTech SL3B, and I replaced the trunk struts. Otherwise car is completely stock and in great shape.

The Custom Luxury is perhaps the best overall choice of packages IMO, with semi-aniline leather, laser cruise, suede headliner, door closers, etc., but without air suspension. You made a great purchase.

Congrats and welcome to the club. You should notice a marked improvement in ride over the Mazda... Now you're spoiled and will find it's hard to go back.
Good choice.

Welcome... We like to see pictures!!!!!

You will feel weird going "backwards" by 10 years to a much better car that still rides like a dream....

Thanks everyone for the welcome.

It is amazing how tight the car feels after 12 years. Soooo quiet compared to the Mazda (which is kind of loud in general anyway), and there are no rattles at all inside, again which I can't say for the Mazda even though it is only a little less than 3 years old. Paid $13500 for it, however with the condition and service record on it, I think it was still a fair price, especially since the Timing Belt was just replaced in December.

I will post some more pictures soon.

The 17" wheels are a nice compromise choice between a sportier ride 18" and mushy ride 16" wheels too.

I think fair price is an understatement. You got the car pretty much less than trade-in value. Great pick up! As many have already stated CL version is rare anf highly sought after. You will surely enjoy this ride.

I have had the car about a month now and it has been great so far. Also, looking much better today now with some tint on there.
P.S. marks on the bumper were there when I got it, will maybe deal with that later.

Great find, BPLS430! Congrats to you. Thanks for sharing the photo of your LS, newly tinted. Ours is the same silver exterior and I have an appointment to tint this Wednesday. I wasnt sure how dark to go but I really like the final result of yours. What percentage do you have for the front/rear windows.

Looks like 20ish rears and 35ish front. I bought my car with the same set up. But I kinda wish it was the same throughout. Wether it be 20 or 30 all around
