Default Help with Bluetooth in my new 04 UL

First, thanks to everyone who responded to my questions on what to look for during my test drive of an UL LS430 in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...y-package.html

I bought the car.

Onto my issues: I read the manual. I got the phone to pair. I receive calls no problem. I can do an outgoing call using the "1 Touch" feature. However if I try doing a call directly from my phone handset itself, the audio does NOT come through the sound system. But the navi unit does indeed show there's a call going on. Any ideas?

Also, I couldn't import my phone book/contacts into the car. Any ideas?

The phone I am using is a Galaxy S5.

Thanks again for your help!!

Do a CL search for detailed threads about importing phone contacts in the 04 - 06 LS. In short, you'll probably discover that you may need to buy an old phone (as in Motorola Razor or similar), input your contacts into that phone, then bluetooth that phone to the car, then import your contacts. Welcome to a trip back in time!

I did a search, but didn't come up with anything.

I'm definitely not buying an old phone. Therefore...What are my options?

Here's one of the postings that discussed phone book transfer into the LS430. I've used the Siemens S56 to transfer my phone book years ago, and it worked!
