Last year I found replacement driver seat cushion at Sewell Lexus.
My mind was set to do the replacement this summer... Bummer Sewel is closed. :-(

Do you have suggestions for alternative keeping parts for our beloved 430?

If I were a dealer I'd develop one pretty quick...money to be made there I think.

Sewell was my go to ever since I had my 2004 LS430. I just ordered from Lexus of Pembroke Pines, and their customer service is excellent. lppparts.com is my Lexus parts supplier from now on.

For various reasons, Lexus corporate do not allow what Sewell had, basically no one can do that anymore.

Sewell shut their site down under pressure from Lexus corporate.

Did Lexus target Sewell directly? Lots of other options that have a similar setup as they do that are still up and running. I also enjoyed this site even though the prices were not always the best.

Oh yes definitely, someone at Sewell told me that. They are just not going to go on record and say it out loud publically. You can't disobey the company you work for Corporate Lexus can cut them off anytime, good luck fighting with Toyota Motor Company.

No one currently have a site as comprehensive, informative and easy to use as what Sewell had. I would absolutely love to know there is one, please show it to me?

Sure there are still tons of Trademotion site, but they are all pretty difficult to find specific parts, many parts are not even listed. Not to mention the discounts are not that great after shipping cost.

The parts manager at my L dealer offers me 20 - 35% off parts depending on the part / accessory. I can order parts via email late in day and they arrive early a.m. the next day for pick-up, including on Saturdays > no shipping fee.
