Does anyone know if the LS430 is supposed to lock itself after a couple of seconds of being away from the car?

My old ES used to lock itself but i do not believe my LS does.

 

My 04 LS430 has the automatic re-armed function. That is if I use the remote to unlock the door but do not actual open it, the security system will automatically re-lock the door after 60 seconds.

So as a bonus, even if you hit the unlock remote button by mistake (thinking that you are locking your car), the car will automatically lock after 60 seconds because of this automatic re-armed feature.

I'm not sure if this feature can be modified with C-Best.

 

The only re-locking is as rkw mentioned. If you open and close the door and walk away it will not re-lock.
