Repairing worn leather seats?
I was wondering how any of you have repaired worn leather seats? What do you think about this dye and repair kit?

My seats are worn around the creases and edges of the bottom part of the seat.

As an alternative there are guys that work mobile that visit most dealer used car lots. They can do a virtually undetectable repair at very reasonable prices. Just call the local Lexus or Toyota used car manger and ask him what day the mobile touch up guy comes by - or just ask for his touch up guy's phone number and meet him elsewhere. Having said that, if you want a permanent fix on a high stress seat area it is best to take it to an upholstery shop where they can replace the material rather than glue/patch it.

Sometimes leather damage is unpreventable, but you can keep the leather as strong possible by vacuuming your seats often, using a leather cleaner like Zaino Z9 to remove body oils, sunscreen, etc, and once or twice a year (or as often as you'd like), soak the leather with a rejuvenator/conditioner like Leatherique, Lexol, or Zaino Z10.
