Default How Scared Would You Be?I

How scared would you be in purchasing a 2004 with 150,000 miles? All work done at Lexus dealership. Every 5 K. How much would you pay for it? Or maybe I should ask what's it worth in really good condition.

Not at all I'd say.
Just perform some very thorough check ups.

Mileage on a Lexus isn't the same on other cars. A Lex with 100k miles is the same or better condition than another car with say 70k. The LS430 is a quality built car.

I would not be worried... I've got 3 LS versions with over 150k miles in the stable and would take anyone around the country right now with no problem.
Value is more location based. NADAguides.com will give you some idea, but look at what they're selling for on CL and cars.com. I would never pay more than excellent tradein value from nadaguides when purchasing from an individual. Dealers will be higher, of course.

Make sure the 90k mile maintenance was performed. The timing belt, water pump, tensioners should have been replaced. Spark plugs should have been replaced over 120k miles. Deduct $$ if these things have not been done. Based on your description, it sounds like it may have been done already. If so, you won't be spending out of pocket. Ball park figure on the worth of the car is subjective, based on it's current condition. I'd guess $12-13k, but do your homework to find out. Good luck!!

Depends on what you're comfort level is. Have you driven the car yet do you have other options is this the best one out of those options?

For reference a single owner 2004 LS430 just sold here in Hawaii for about $16,995 and it had only 50k miles. Our cars usually cost more than the mainland given everything gets shipped here.
