Limited Slip Differential. It's an import car term that means the same as positraction, track lock, sure grip, etc. on American cars. Locks the rear differential so both tires get equal power regardless of traction. It gives you the ability to drift and do power slides. Our cars are equipped with an open differential that only supplies power to one side at a time, the side that has the least traction.

And I have a GS400, and still no LSD available for it (Supra TT Auto is a bolt in), and looking at car-part.com look up the 98-05 GS400 and the 95-03 LS (and SC400/SC430) uses the same diff. So if the Supra TT Auto diff is a bolt in, I would expect it to bolt in all these cars.
The 04-up LS shares diff with the 06-up GS and SC430.
The only change I can determine for the 6 speed cars is the diff has changed ratio from the 5 speed cars to 6 speed. I can't determine if the diff itself is actually any different. I haven't seen them.
I do suspect there is a diff from the IS (not the whole axle, just the diff itself) might work in the LS/GS/SC cars. We have a 8" ring gear. It is possible the small pickup diff might work too, but not the whole axle (obviously). Being there is little aftermarket support for these axles, info is hard to find.
