Default Does anyone have clear pictures of cam and crank timing marks.

I'm doing the timing belt, when I removed the belt the cams rotated from the 50 degree mark when the timing belt was removed....

I got it back together, but I don't know if the cams line up with the STRIGHT line on the housing or the T.

Help would be appreciated.

So in these pictures, would you say he has the crank rotated the 50degrees to unload the valves?

Here's another way to look at it... Your new TB should have 3 markings: "R-CAM", "L-CAM", and "CR". They should line up as instructed below.

Perfect, I needed the TDC pictures....

I like pictures .... Going to re-time a timing belt.... Back with you in a few hours to let you know how it goes.....

Right now I have the cams at the 50 degree setting and the crank at TDC.... I was going off of another thread for cam timing, Did not realize / understand that pictures showed the cams a the 50 degree setting using the T for timing marks.....
