Default got a rock chip today,can it be repaired

as title says i got a chip wright in front of the rain sensor and it has a little spidering.
can they repair that area or do they have to remove the rain sensor?

Yes, usually if it small enough. A new Pilkington windshield was only $185 through a local auto glass shop. I have gone through two in less then two years. If you're near Atlanta the company is H&A auto glass. I replaced the oem due to pitting and I had a rock from a pickup truck crack mine a few months ago. Insurance will usually repair for free. If you replace, make sure to to get the top molding from Lexus of South Atlanta or Sewell.
