I thought I read that someone (maybe Lav) had put on the sport rear sway bar on his UL. Is that possible to do with an air suspension model? Any ride penalty??

I will be staying with my stock sway bars and would prefer to just upgrade or just replace the bushings... Moog bushings and OEM are the only ones that I have found. Decisions, decisions. LOL.

I definitely think it was money well spent. It's not going to turn you LS into a sports car, it's just a nice upgrade with basically zero downside.

I wanted a car with a soft ride, this allows you to keep that, but it just feels tighter when turning. I actually think it's less "luxurious" to have so much body roll, so for me it makes for a more comfortable ride for both you and the passengers.

In contrast, something like firmer struts/springs are going to have a steep ride penalty and cost a lot more money.
Does that fit an 01?

Are there aftermarket stabilizer bars for the LS? I installed aftermarket sway bars in my mkiii supra and it made a world of difference (that thing was a boat). What about bushings? Ebay turns up all kinds of random parts.

I had a lot of ultra racing products on my GS and they all did great for what they were. I wouldn't expect much change from this particular piece alone... but you will notice a slight change in cornering. Once you start adding to rear lower pieces you will change the handing along with the front lower pieces. It depends on what you are going for though... you could potentially make the ride worst by stiffening up too much but in doing so it will handle differently... everyone has their own opinion on if different is better or worst. My GS handled like it was on rails... I loved it... I don't think I'd want my LS to handle like that now though. Might get better results investing in high quality tires and/or making sure your suspension components are all up to par. If so... then buy the bar it's cheap and will help a little. You should consider the rear lower multipoint brace though... I'd get that one first before the others. Or both rear and front multi together at the same time.

I ordered a few different sets of bushings for the rear. Hopefully a new set of rear poly bushings will firm up and help a little with the rear sway on the highway.

They only make a front strut bar. The rears are only for the LS460.

Here you go all LS430 Ultra Racing:

http://www.ultraracingshop.com/default.php?search=ls430+&x=-959&y=-110

You can email or call them directly. I've always had email communications with no issues. On their site there is no reference of this rear multi point brace that I saw on ebay even though that seller posted for it. Would recommend working directly with UR to get the correct parts ordered and also to find out of any are interchangeable.

--------
Update on rear multi point solid brace... Pablomex is correct and thank you for catching that. I got an email response from the ebay seller saying that they have no reference of such part for the LS430 and continued with links to the other braces available. Kinda strange that they are advertising it differently.

I installed these bushings yesterday and found that my LS430 rides smoother and handles much better then before and I am really surprised on the difference that they made. The Prothane 19-1182-BL Black 26 mm's went on the front and ACDelco 45G0952 Professional rear suspension stabilizer bushings went on the rear. Both fit well and I installed them within 2 hours on my back. LOL. I did have to use new larger washers on the Prothane brackets... The original Lexus bushings were still in really good condition and I will update this week when I get more driving time on the freeway...

No. I decided to start with the sway bar bushings first and see what kind of difference they make. So far I am very happy with how the ride/sway seems more stable and rides very smooth and not stiff like I was worried about. The handling is better and I would recommend that anyone with original sway bar bushings have them replaced with similar bushings like what I installed.

My end links look fine and I do not plan on replacing those yet. I am assuming that new poly end links may stiffen up the ride even more...

Amazon is saying that #45G0952 doesn't fit my 2005 LS430. The #45G0956 is stated as fitting the front.

They fit my rear sway bar perfectly and the old original bushings and these were identical in shape and size... Amazon is not always accurate when it comes to what fits your vehicle. I had a long drive yesterday and I love how my car rides and handles.
