2003 LS 430 Steering wheel won't move up or down
 

The switch to make my steering wheel go up and down has stopped working. Do you think it the Tilt motor or just a switch that needs to be replaced. Oh btw the drivers side door won't lock with the keyless remote...but works on all the other doors.... Help anybody please!!! :cry: Thanks in advance..

I did check the fuses and they are all good!!

It's the tilt motor. Extremely common problem on these. I am ordering one this week to fix it on mine. Part is available from a few sources. Sewell with the clublexus discount should be cheapest for oem. Part is in the 300 dollar range. If you search there is a complete guide to diy with part numbers. Some have had luck taking it apart and lubing the motor shaft assembly and it works again for awhile.
