2003 LS430 - Front Washer Sprayer Stopped Working
Hello,
We are getting well into the Quebec winter here and it has been around -15 to -20 degrees C for the past week or so.
A week or two ago I noticed that fluid wasn't coming out of one of the nozzles, then the spray kept getting weaker and weaker and finally nothing came out. thought it was low on fluid so I filled it up. Now they don't work at all.
They nozzles looked like they had iced up, so I cleaned them out and tried again, but nothing. When I press the button on the stalk I don't hear anything now.
Does this sound like ice in the system? Or has my washer motor quit. Need help.
Thanks!

Maybe it was combination of air in the system and the system icing up. Nice to know repairs aren't needed. Just got the car.

In the morning today I tried to use the sprayer with the door open and I could hear the motor running. So okay it's not the motor. I kept using the sprayer over and over again and eventually the fluid came out. So now it works again, PHEW!

I also had problems with clogged washer nozzles. I found an opened-up paper clip worked really well at dislodging the blockage. I am happy to say I have full washer capability without having to replace any components.
