Default Trunk Mat for LS 430 vs. Ultra Luxury - Sizes?

The trunk mat for the LS 430 (standard) has been discontinued. The trunk mat for the LS 430 with Ultra Luxury package (with cooler box in trunk area) is available. I'm trying to decide if the mat designed for the Ultra Luxury will fit and look alright in the LS 430 without the cooler box. Does anyone have the dimensions or a picture of the trunk mat for the Ultra Luxury trunk mat, or a description of the mat configuration (since it has a cutout area to fit around the cooler box in the upper trunk area)? None of the Lexus dealers I contacted seem to have a consistent answer (whether there is a rectangular cutout for the cooler box, or if the trunk mat is simply cut straight across the upper area near the backseat). Thank you.

Geneo1 > THANK YOU so much! The picture you provided solves the mystery of what it looks like. Can I ask ... would you give me a depth measurement front-to-back so I'll know how much of the trunk it will cover in my LS430 Modern Luxury? Thanks again Gene01. Best regards.

Sorry, should have thought of that.
It's 37 3/4" measured along the centerline from the bottom edge of the bulkhead to the bottom edge of the trunk lip.

Gene01, THANK YOU! This is very helpful info. After I finish clearing snow here today, I'll check dimensions and compare the outline of the perimeter of the trunk to the picture you provided to see if the trunk walls configuration is the same. Really appreciate your help! Best regards.

I think it will fit OK, but as you know will be short in a non-UL trunk.
Also, you may want to continue your search on e-bay, etc. No telling when one may become available.
Good luck.

The width along the forward edge of the trunk floor (the narrowest distance) is 31 1/2 ".
I believe (but don't know for absolute certain) that this is the same as on a non-UL car.
IIRC the wheelbase is 1/2" wider in the rear for the UL cars, so this may not be correct.

Thank you for this info Gene. The forward edge width in the non-UL is 32" ... if the wheel well covers in the trunk area (where they meet the trunk floor) are the same configuration for both the UL and non-UL, the cargo mat for the UL would appear to make a reasonable alternative choice in the non-UL trunk - especially since the cargo mat for the LS 430 (non-UL) has been discontinued. Thanks for all of your help Gene!

You're welcome, Tom. Please let us know how it turns out - whatever you decide.
It will be helpful for the next owner who has the same problem.

Thank you for your suggestion, Lavrishevo, for the Lloyd's aftermarket trunk carpet. I have a free sample of their classic loop pile carpet that they mailed. As you might expect, it doesn't have the same look or feel that the Lexus OEM plush carpet has ... which is why I'm considering the Lexus UL (slightly shorter) mat. I've tried several parts recyclers too, hoping to find a decent used trunk mat from a LS 430 - - so far, nothing. I'll reply again once I decide what, if anything, I do. Thanks again gentlemen.

Is this the same quality of carpet from the sample? I don't know if you can tell from the photo. They look decent. The UL will work too.

Lavrishevo, The Lloyd's "classic loop" (your first link above) is the basic loop pile carpet that I have a sample of. The Lloyd's "Ultimats" (your link above today) is the more plush carpet - as is the price ($125). The Lexus OEM trunk mat offers a nice carpet cover, albeit slightly shorter in the UL size - and price ($48 at my Lexus dealer). I'm leaning toward trying the UL and be done with this. I'll definitely reply if I do, and with the results. Given that the LS 430 trunk mat is discontinued, I think this issue will be a recurring one for those of us who want to replace their trunk mats with a fresh & clean one - not unlike changing floor mats in a 10+ year old vehicle.

Have you tried some of the larger internet friendly OEM part dealers like Sewell Lexus, Park Place Lexus or Irontoad? Also, they will show up on Ebay eventually..
